ferry+ are pleased to announce that in July this year we will open an office in New Zealand. This will be our first presence outside Europe and will support our efforts in Australasia, Asia and the Pacific rim. The contact details will be shown on our Contact us page as they come on-line.

A new ‘multi vehicle’ version of ferry+ has been released this month which allows the booking of any number of vehicles on the same or different sailings on one booking. Luke Burstow, ferry+ development director said, “This major development adds sophisticated new functionality allowing users to provide their customers with increased levels of service.”

Explore World Wide Holidays have appointed ferry+ to provide support for their current booking engine and operating system.

A new on-line tool tip help is now standard throughout ferry+ functionality. This exiting development allows users to see contextual on-line help with links where required, to various document types in addition to internal and external web links.

Wightlink Ferries are now using ferry+ which has replaced their ‘legacy’ reservations, ticketing and point of sale systems. The latest release of ferry+ incorporates a major new module for the recognition of revenue as bookings are checked in. This new feature rich module enables accurate reporting of earned and unearned revenue for the General ledger and for management purposes.

Eurotunnel the motorists number 1 choice for crossing the Channel, have selected ferry+ to assist in the maintenance and evolution of their bookings and reservations systems. Eurotunnel's bookings are made via a call centre, Internet, Extranet and Unicorn. The Eurotunnel booking and reservation system, MARCUS, uses the IBM Universe database engine.
